White self adhesive cotton tape comes in 2 Variants – regular and waterproof.
Mainly used in binding, holding packing heavy engineering (metal) components due to high mechanical strength.
Waterproof cotton tape is used in applications such as moisture proof gaskets, junction box / termination box etc. To ensure no moisture / vapour enters, in addition to providing protection from entry of rodents.
Being of cotton fabric, the tape conforms very easily to any shapes, even irregular ones.
Black cotton tape
Our black self adheisve cotton tape or ‘Friction Tape’ is an electrical grade adhesive for general insulations and is also waterproof.
Black cotton tape is preferred compared to PVC tape where there is regular abrasion or constant exposure to outside/atmospheric conditions given its non-drying and non-crackling properties
The cotton fabric ensures no elongation during application of the tape, which helps to get better BDV, is non puncturing and also consumes less Tape.
